We always go out of town for Easter with DH's entire family. We go on four wheeler rides, have a little egg hunt, bbq, and then we do a family potluck on Sunday.
So, we don't dress up, just new summer clothes because it's warmer there.
On Saturday wee will go to an egg hunt at our church. Sunday we will get up and DD will hunt for eggs the easter bunny hid. Then we have a big breakfast and off to church. I will probably cook a big dinner that night.
Depends on the year. We switch off between ILs and my family. IL's always stay home, but still dress up. My family stays home some years and goes to a restaurant some years. This year the extended family is all going to my uncle's country club, so we have to be really dressed (jacket and tie required for men!) which stinks since I'm pregnant and own no nice clothing that fits!
We go to church and hang out with both of our families since we are all in the same town...including the in-laws unfortunately. haha This year, we are doing a big lunch/dinner with family/close friends and an easter egg hunt at our house with all the kiddos!

We go to mass, brunch at the country club, easter egg hunt at my grandparents' house and then usually dinner at my grandparents' house.
Last year we did church/lunch with my in laws and I was not a fan.
We generally try to keep the religious holidays to celebrating with my family because we decided to raise Jackson Catholic and my family is Catholic. My in laws are Lutheran, and I don't mind going to the occasional service with them (even on a holiday here and there), but overall, I prefer going to a Catholic mass when it works out.
