What's for dinner?

I made lemon chicken for me, and barbecue chicken for my hubby. Plus some veggies.

What are you all having?

I probably would if I could. I love cooking! And so far none of the smells I have been around while cooking have bothered me, so I do it as much as I can. Big Smile

Sounds like something my husband would make himself for dinner.  The week we moved in together, he made lunch for himself... it was white rice with a can of stewed tomatoes, black olives, and a drained can of corn on top!   I seem to think he cut up a left over hot dog to mix in for protien.I just looked at him and went outside.  I couldn't handle watching him eat that.

haha trust me I don't normally eat like that, but I'm taking anything that sounds somewhat ok to me right now

  • Shrimp in love Pasta for us tonight! My boo loves it!?
  • per the boards earlier, the dinner plan tonight is HOTDOGS, either hotdog cut up in mac n cheese or chili cheese dogs!

I'm also going to get some fried mushrooms from my fave place and make devilled eggs.... wow could you imagine these choices being offered at a restaurant... people would vomit looking at the menu haha but I think it's going to be DELISH!

It's honestly pretty simple. I squeezed the juice of one half of a lemon into the bottom of the baking dish (pyrex), placed the chicken on top, squeezed the juice of the other half of a lemon onto the chicken, rubbed the chicken down with McCormick Lemon Pepper Seasoning (salt free-woo!), covered it with foil, and baked it for an hour at 425. At about 35 minutes I took it out and basted the chicken with the lemon juice sitting in the bottom of the pan (by then the spices stick and don't run off when liquid is poured on). That's it!
