Amusement park rides

OK, so you know the rides that say "Not suitable for pregnant women" or whatever... are just covering their own asses or are there real risks to riding them while pregnant?

I have to take some OOT guests to Universal Studios and almost all the rides there have this warning for pregnant women.

    I heard the babies love The Hulk!

    Those warnings are there for a reason.  I would have to advise you to not go on any rides.

    I wouldn't risk it but the good news is that some of the rides at Universal have non-motion options which you can go on. I got season passes to Universal 2 weeks before becoming pregnant... what a waste now :(

    Call your Dr. I just went to Disneyland this weekend and was fine! My OB okayed everything. If you're gonna miscarry - it's not going to be because you went on a roller coaster.?

    I spent too much time and money at the RE's office to even get this baby - no way I would ever risk it.

     Agree. I don't think they just put up the signs for fun.  Probably a reason behind it.
