First off, you've got to be kidding me... So, I thought it'd be safe for me to go to the bathroom real quick, but nooooooooooo... as I'm peeing that's when my cell phone rang!! Arrgghh!! Typical. So, I quickly stop and wipe and answer my phone. Luckily I was the only one in the bathroom, but why would they call right then and there? Sigh.
Ok, so they got 21 eggs and 14 fertilized. Is that a low fert number??? I was expecting more, but hey, I'm happy since in my head, I wanted a minimum of 15 eggs retrieved anyway, so 14 fertilized is still a great number. I hope they grow strong and that we have some frozen ones!!! Wish me good luck!!! They'll call me tomorrow with another update!
**This is for my de cycle, so this is from my donor's ER**
Re: Got fert report!!
It's Murphy's law... whenever you are waiting on a call go pee!
14 is a great number - sending you tons of cell dividing dust, if there is such a thing!

That's FANTASTIC!! Of the 21, probably not all were mature (probably more like 15 or so given her follie sizes), so 14 is a GREAT number of embies!
Oh my gosh you must be ecstatic!!! Yea yea yea!!!!!

Thanks ladies! Oh, and don't get me wrong, I also think 14 is great, but I thought with 21 eggs, there would be more fertilized, BUT I am happy with that number so I don't want anyone to think I'm crazy!
Keep in mind, I never made it this far, so this part is all new to me!
I'm soooooo happy! I'm actually trembling right now, but that could be due to the energy rush I got just trying to answer the phone.
sounds good to me!
congrats, and good luck at your ET!

Honey, that's wonderful!! I got 23 and only 9 ended up as fertilized embryos, but, on day 3, I still had 8 of them!! Remember, these are young, healthy, strong eggs. 14 is fantastic!!!
I'm so excited for you!!!!
14 fertilizing with high FSH and DOR is downright AMAZING!! Girls without those issues would be ecstatic with those numbers! congrats!!

Oops, I should've clarified... this was my donor's retrieval, hence the great response.
14 is great! I hope your embies keep growing strong.
