Sorry if this is TMI but I wanted to share my horror. This morning DH and I were driving home from grocery shopping and just down the road from our house we saw a woman out walking her dog right next to the road. Then I noticed that she was wearing a long tshirt (went to her backside). Well she BENT over to pick up her dog and literally stopped traffic. We couldn't really tell why because we were a couple cars back, then she lifted her arm to open her mailbox and we saw why....

And.........

NO

UNDERWEAR!!!!!

Nope, not even a thong! Holy cows our mouths dropped open! That is a picture that will NEVER get out of my head! Yikes!

Ugh... I have no idea why you'd do that. In your home is one thing, but in public??

I used to work doing in-home interviews. One woman answered the door like that. She seemed embarrassed, closed the door, and came back. With just a robe. A short, unclosed robe. Yeah, it was an 90 minute interview that could not have been more weird.

To top it off, I had left my lights on and my battery died. I had to go back to her door and ask her to let me jump my car with hers (I had the cables) and she REFUSED! Who does that??? I had to call my brother and get him out of work, the whole time sitting in front of nake-in-public lady's house. Grrrr...

I'd almost bet that anyone doing that is not mentally sound. I seriously doubt she was just trying to get a rise out of the neighbors. I could be wrong, but....it's not something a person would do in their right mind.

I always worried I'd answer the door or something with a boob hanging out of my shirt and not realize it! But no - even at my most sleep deprived, I would not walk around outside in a short (or any length) shirt with nothing on beneath.

Sorry you had to see that. My mom's neighbor walks around in front of her house like that sometimes, and it is quite unnerving to see. But my mom's neighbor is at least on a private road. The lady you're talking about sounds like she could become responsible for multiple traffic accidents.
