got my 2nd beta moved to Thursday (longish)

After I posted here, I just totally shut down. I just think that number is not good. So, I left a message for my RE to call me back, which she just did. I fell asleep waiting for her to call.

She assured me they only want to see 100, so mine is OK. She told me she wanted to call me so badly herself with the #, but she had to let the nurse to do it, since they make the not so good calls too. She told me again how deserving we are and if she could makes this happen for anyone, it would be me. I started crying.

I told her I'd been spotting since Saturday, and she said it was perfectly normal. It's their protocol to do betas 7 days apart, but she moved my 2nd one from next Monday to this Thursday.

I haven't even looked at all your responses to my post below. I'm off to do that now, and I know you'll all be reassuring.  THank you so much. I hope I don't seem ungrateful. I just wanted a number that would make me relax, ya know?!  Hopefully that comes on Thursday:-)

    I'm so glad you got it moved up!!! Just remember, it only has to double every 48-72 hours. I hope that it is an awesome number!!! you are pregnant until further notice!!

    I'm so glad they moved it up!  It would've been so hard to wait for Monday.  Good luck, I can't wait to hear how it goes!

    Yay! I'm glad you got it moved up and you got to talk to Dr. K! I bet she made you feel really good about things. :)
    I just know that you are pregnant for good!!!! So, bring me that early bday present on Thursday!!!!!!

    seriously stacey, that is a good solid number.  i promise.  i would not bull schit you.  i have read that beta numbers can be a little lower at first with ivf.  i know i thought my 183 was no good based on other peoples numbers.  but it was just fine.  the doubling time is the real measure.  thank goodness she's moving you up to thursday.  another weekend of waiting would just be cruel.  you are pregnant girl! also remember, that jeni's first beta number was 159, so very close to your number, and she had twins!

    I am glad they moved it. You can always get another one Monday, what's a few extra blood draws at this point right. It would kill me to have to wait that long so I am glad they moved it. Congrats again!!!

    First of all, CONGRATS!!!!!

    I am glad they ? were able to move your beta. ?I know it is stressful wondering about #s, but you are PG and I am so happy for you!!!!!?
