  I don't know about labcorp, but up until now, I have had all my lab work done at quest and they are usually next day.

  I don't know about outside labs...from what I've seen on here they tend to take longer then an RE's office would because they're processing more. I hope you get the number soon.

  It depends on your lab order. ?If your RE marked it as "stat" they should have the results today. ?If it's a standard order, LabCorp usually provides the dr with the result the next day.

  Call and ask. My local hospital had results in the afternoon for a morning beta. My RE had them fax results over ASAP.

  I used the lab at my hospital (out of state for my RE).  The nurse told me to call 24 hours after the test, but if I had it done first thing in the morning, they usually called me by the end of the day with the results.

  i did and it varied... my 1st beta was not available even on the day i went in to get my 2nd beta drawn...but i got results for my 2nd beta w/in 24 hrs (so i ended up getting results from #1 and #2 on the same day)
