BFing and hemorroids?

Totally gross and TMI, I know.  But, the hems got worse with DD2, only now I'm still bfing.  I had a prescription for something when I had them with DD1, but now I'm reading that they don't know if this medication passes through the breastmilk.

They seriously hurt and aren't getting better on their own, but now I'm scared to take anything for them.

Anyone else have this disgusting issue?  What did you do???  I have a call into my doc, but I know it'll be days before she calls me back.

    I read that about the active ingredient in the creams but the doc thought i was crazy for worrying about it.

    I had a prescription cream.  Are you saying you have actual pill form medication?  Because if you are I am a little pissed my doctor never offered it!

    One thing that can give you some relief in the meantime is a lotion called Balneol. They sell it at Walgreens, next to the Prep H. Use it in the shower and after you go to the bathroom. Very soothing. My surgeon (yes, I had the dreaded H surgery) recommended it. And it's just a cleaning/lotion thing, so nothing to worry about with bf. Although I never heard you couldn't use even prescription stuff while bf. I'm pretty sure I did...
