Anyone not feel welcome at your ILs?

MIL has a nasty habit of talking about me behind my back to SIL. SIL basically told me all about it when we got in an argument last week. I no longer feel welcome at their house and have no desire to ever go over there again. How would you deal with this? I don't really want my kids over there either if I am not welcome there.

    I am so sorry that you are going through this. :(
    I have issues with MIL but the issues have never been brought out in the open.

    It will be hard to not have your kids over there because regardless of the issues that you have with them they are still your kids' grandmother and Aunt.

    If you feel unwelcomed in your ILs house try to stay away from them but do not keep your kids from them. You can send them over with your DH and just say that you have things to do (this usually works for me).

    I would talk to your MIL and clear the air.  Tell her that you heard about her talking behind your back about you and that you don't think that is approaite.  The two of you don't have to see eye to eye on anything but  it would be nice if you could have a civil relationship.

    i feel super uncomfortable over at my mils!!! I can't stand that lady.. she talks nasty about who ever isn't in the room at that moment...

    So I sit in the corner and through myself in with the kids.. never talking to her... we rarely go to her house.. a couple time every few months...
