I just switched to cloth diapering and I'd like to add more to my stash. I have a sizeable amount of gift cards for BRU and Kushies and Bumkins are the only cloth diapers they have. I'm thinking of buying a 5 pack of the Kushies since that sure would be easier on my wallet.
Anyone used them? Reviews?
TIA!
Re: Anyone here use Kushies CDs? Please tell me how you like them!
I received a pack of newborn sized ones at my shower. I hated them. They never fit correctly, would leak all the time, were bulky, stiff and had weird leg openings that are prone to gap. They have mixed reviews on Diaper Pin. When I researched them to figure out the gap/leaking issue I found on the Kushies site that they say to stuff the diapers to prevent leaks and have a better fit at the legs. I found that annoying - why should I have to stuff a diaper just to make it fit correctly?
However I know people who like these diapers. You could easily get a 5-pack, try them and if they don't work for you, you can sell them (or donate them to a worthy cause like https://www.miraclediapers.org/).
A great way to save on cloth diapering is to check out sites like Craigslist and eBay, and also to buy gently used diapers from online stores like Jillian's Diapers. Sites like diaperpin.com will provide tons of product reviews to help you make purchasing decisions. Don't buy a ton of one style until you have road tested it on your LO!
