RSVP to a wedding....

Were not attending, its my hubbys cousin.  Lately we havent been going to alof of things(busy, short on cash).  Besides just chking off NO, I would like to say something- not sure what..Can anyone help me w/ a few words..(I was thinking ufornately we have a previous committment, but I dont want to lie as his sister will be attending.  Thx

    I would write something like  "We are so sad we aren't going to be able to make it and wish you both all the best.  Congratulations!!" on the RSVP card.  Then send a card closer to the wedding date (no gift needed).
