i just wanted to let you know that i noticed the planet laundry detergent in my market basket today for 6.99 for the 32 load size.. not sure what you paid on amazon etc or if any of their stores near you stock it as well, but just wanted to put it out there..  :-)

    ooh - thank you! i never go to MB because the one near me always looks so dirty and i hate buying food in a place that looks dirty, but i don't think that would matter so much if all i was getting was the laundry detergent :-)

    hahaha - i feel THE SAME WAY and honestly i'm a little embarrassed to admit i wouldn't go there until we started having financial problems for the same reason.. now i mostly buy 'grocery items' there and get meats/fish elsewhere but the grocery items often times are really SO much cheaper than other stores i've learned to grin and bear it and go on 'off' hours.. lol.  but if you don't have the time to shop multiple stores it's a hassle for sure..  but they have planet dishwasher soap, liquid handwash dish soap, and the laundry detergent at mine..  :-)

    yeah if we had more time i would do the same thing...and yeah, i feel like SUCH a snob for saying it but oh well. lol!

    we used to live in the boston area and i always used to avoid market basket and foodmaster for the same reason!  lol - what a snob i am:)

    lol - isn't it funny though?  i think part of what made the switch easier for me is the fact that our market basket is literally 1.5 miles from our condo so it's really easy to run over and get something from there rather than going to a different store but even still it took me losing my job and running out of savings to finally start shopping there on a regular basis - i still hate going there though..  i swear if i had the money and a store convenient to me, i would probably do at least 90% of my shopping at wholefoods...ah how i pph walking in to wholefoods...the produce section is absolutely glorious to look at!!  lol..  hi i'm lytedark and i'm a total food snob.. lol..
