Anyone have bunk beds??

My dd is still in crib(pushing 3 soon).  As you can see Im in no rush.  We went a friends child bday party.  They had bunk beds for the girls.  My dd loved it.  I only have one child, but Im thinking it might be good to have a n extra bed.  When she gets older she can have a friend sleep over etc...

    We will likely get them in a few years when #2 outgrows the crib.  My sister and I had them growing up and I loved it!

    they make me nervous.  I'd rather get dc a bed with a trundle under it for when friends stay over.   dd has a full size bed.  ds may just get a bed with a trundle.

    My kids do--we have no real choice--no room.  It's a bunk bed & also has a trundle.  DD#2 was in the trundle & DD#1 on the bottom bunk until last week.  Now DD#1 is on top, DD#2 on bottom, trundle is storage..because we moved the crib into the room as well & we need the storage.  So far they've done wonderfully & love it.
