What is the med you're on and how long have you been taking it? It takes quite some time for it to kick in but also, you may need a higher dose or even a different med. I've tried several. You're still going to have your bad days too though. PM, email, or even call me anytime you need to talk.
Re: belle~
Hey. I'm on Celexa. I was on 20 mg and it seemed to be working. Then it seemed I had acclimated so he upped it to 30 but I wanted to give myself a little time and see if I could do w/out taking more... didn't work so I just started the increased dosage on Friday I think. I've been on it since November. I don't have a follow-up with him until May. But I do have therapy this week.
But, I think a lot of my problems are situational. I can be doing really well but it takes just one little incident and I'm thown off for a few days. Hopefully I'll come off of this little spiral soon. I'm just stressed, overwhelmed and annoyed, frustrated.
Thanks.
My issues seem to be situational - like my husband for example, I probably wouldn't need my Lexapro if I didn't have him around, you know. hahaha
I want to start therapy but have not found the time for it. I used to think it would help and get me off meds, now I think it will just help me deal but still with the meds. I think I've established that meds are necessary.
You'll get through this. You're one tough broad.
