Can lining thin without AF? (possible stupid q)

I'm midcycle, and somehow my lining dropped from 9 to 5.6. I haven't had any bleeding. Is this possible, or was there technician error? I'm doing a natural monitored cycle, and they think I already O'd. I'm waiting for a call back from the doctor... If that could have happened, can anything be done to thicken lining? I'm already drinking pom juice...

I have no idea how or why, but yes it can happen.  It's happened on both of my FET cycles.

There is always margin for error in taking the measurement, but not that much.
