QOTD: What did you do before bedrest? Are you still working? What does your dh do?
Re: ~~~Bedrest Mamas Monday Check-in~~~
I'm a CPA. I'm trying to still work 4 hours a day but some days it just doesn't happen.
Dh is an IT/business consultant.
I'm an HR Assistant for a federal government agency. I do payroll for other federal government agencies. I can't work from home because I have access to sensitive information (social security numbers, banking info, ect.) and it can't leave the building.
DH works at Sherwin Williams.
No updates.
QOTD: ?I'm a manager for a publishing company, and they are allowing me to work from home until my bed rest is lifted and/or I have the baby and start disability. ?I'm really grateful! ?My DH is a Web designer.?
No updates for me.
I'm a Medical Assistant. Can't work from home since my job is 98% patient interface. Paperwork is too confidental to do from home.
DH is a Software Engineer.
no updates, besides the fact that my dr is letting me off bedrest for an hour to go get a prenatal massage... i am SUPER EXCITED!
QOTD: before the bedrest i was looking for programs to get my teaching certificate. i still plan on getting it after they come, i am going to be a SAHM until they go to school anyway, so if i can go to work teaching i'll be on the same schedule as they are for the most part.
DH is the community arts manager for a non-profit org. one day we'd like to run our own non-profit arts center
Hi all!
I'm normally an attorney. Not working now though, I wanted to work from home but they said that wouldn't work with my disability. DH is also an attorney.
No real update today. Back to the dr. tomorrow for another checkup. Hoping to stay out of the hospital.

I just started as a 911 operater about 6 weeks before going on bedrest...No working from home for me, although I may look into doing ProFlowers or something.
DH is a NYS Court Officer...
QOTD: According to my company policy I was not allowed to continue working my administrative assistant job. I had to go on disability... so at least I am still getting some pay.
My husband is an design engineer.
Update for me: Just got back from the doctor. I had a rough sunday and this morning was not good either. So the doc did another fFN test and hooked me up to the NST. The NST looked good so he sent me home to stay put on the couch and keep taking my terb. I'm finally 30 wks through!!!
Oh and if you read my other post the scale hates me now. It's so depressing.
When I found out I was pregnant (November 8th), I was working as an administrative assistant for a television graphics company. It was an awesome job that I was great at, but every employee smoked in the office!! Which I hated to start with (big antismoker). So, I quit in December and started watching a friend's child full-time. Then, as soon as I found out I had to be on bedrest, I quit watching her as well.
My fiance is a safety guy at various plants around the area. He just got back from a plant in Illinois this weekend. He might have to go to Louisiana if work doesnt pick up around Houston soon
Update: today I take my glucose test...wish me luck!
I am a planner for a town in Colorado. thank God they are allowing me to work from home part time. I do about 4 hrs a day. My husband also works for the town as a foreman.
I'm hoping my job will let me continue part time after the baby arrives, and maybe even a day or two from home.
QOTD: I am an Executive Assistant and even though I work from home when my boss travels I am not on 100% STD. I am getting 100% of my pay so that is very, very good. DH is a Project Engineer and travels a ton for his job. He is home with me this week! When he doesn't travel he works from home.
