I go to RMA and am getting ready for my first IVF cycle with them in April. I love RMA and am really happy with them. I go the Somerset office, but they have branches in Morristown, West Orange and I believe Englewood.
I want to another Fertility practice in NJ first and wasn't happy with them and went to RMA for a second opinion.
My doctor at RMA diagnosed me with PCOS and advised that I should have a lap for possible endometriosis because of cyst I had. I had the lap two weeks ago and they found Stage 3 endo.
The first clinic didn't find any of this or suggest a lap for Endo even though I had a large cyst for two cycles that didn't change in size.
I go to IRMS at St Barnabas in Livingston and have been very happy with it. I have only done IUIs there, not IVF. Monitoring hours are 6-8AM every day, including weekends and most holidays. I have seen all of the REs there, at least for monitoring, and can honestly say I like all of them. GL!
I've been with RMA since 2006 and would definitely recommend them. My main office is West Orange but, for any surgeries and ER/ET and on the weekends you go to Morristown.
During the week, monitoring is from 6:00-7:30. Morristown gets really crowded, but, I don't think the other offices are bad at all in the morning, except for an odd morning now and then.
As I said, I've been there for just shy of 3 years and completed 4 IVF's there (attempted more than that and did 2 at another clinic), so, I can probably answer any question you might have!
Hear great things about RMA, but caught major attitude with the billing person before I even got in there so scratched it.
My dh's urologist super highly recommends another RE in Hackensack. He doesn't participate with our insurance at all so it was a no go for us, but can dig out his info for you if you'd like.
I switched to the RMA after getting a second opinion from them...i also go to the Somerset office...I have seen Dr Azim (my primary) and Dr Hock...I like them both...They are both very thorough and compassionate..
Once we get all of these problems figured out we will most likely be moving on to IVF...let me know if you have any other questions
Somerset office isn't that bad at all. Morning monitoring is 6am til 7:30am Monday thru Friday. If I need monitoring on the weekends I have to go to the Morristown office. The Morristown office is also where they do the ER and ET if you are having IVF. Morristown is also where they do acupuncture.
My nurse is really great about getting back to me when ever I have questions or anything.
I just left my RE in November to go to RMA for a 2nd opinion. We met with Dr. Scott in Morristown, I live in Wanaque and work in Ramsey so I was concerned about the distance. But it is super easy to get to and a really easy commute. I really like them, they are organized and seem to really know what they are doing! I am currently cycling with them and so far so good! They get you in fairly quickly for your morning monitoring, their hrs are from 6-7:30 I belive for monitoring.
Good Luck! If you have any questions I would be happy to help!
