  Charlie had a big weekend! He slept through the night on Saturday, then Sunday morning we found tooth #3, then Sunday evening he mastered the army crawl! He really wanted the remote control

  He's also gone 72 hours with no pacifier and never once showed any sign of missing/wanting it. Whee!

  Today is an okay pumping week so far.  I am finally working out a clogged duct.  I am trying really hard to focus on the weight loss effect of pumping.  That is what is keeping me going.  I hope you are all seeing this s/e too!

  This last week was a good pumping week.  My supply is all over the place, some days I barely pump what she eats, and some days I pump 10 oz over what she eats.  My pumping schedule has been the same for 3 months and it does not seem to be related to my menstrual cycle.  Weird.  But this last week was a "feast" week, not a "famine" week.

   

  It's nice and warm here, high of over 80', but it's WINDY so I'm more house-bound than I was when it was chilly.

  Benny is almost strong enough for us to face him forward in his stroller, just in time for warmer temps We're excited! Plus he almost rolled over this morning... any day now!

  I'm doing ok with pumping, but have been lazy over the past few days, and only getting in 5 instead of my normal 6 pumps. I'm trying to get back on schedule before it hurts my supply!

  And yep, I noticed the weight loss effect with pumping, too. I'm doing Weight Watchers, and they give you 10 extra points per day for breastfeeding. I eat them all and then some, and I'm still losing! Woohoo! Another motivating factor to keep me pumping, that's for sure

  I had a horrible week pumping.  I slept through my alarm a few times to pump around 12 or 1am so was only pumping around 3 or 4am when DD woke up for a feeding.  Things have been hectic and i have not been on a normal pumping schedule, and haven't been pumping as much as I should.  I am paranoid that it is hurting my supply since I am still working to build it up..but since i am 6 weeks PP I am hoping it isn't that bad.  I am hoping this week is a lot better.

  Hi ladies!

  The only new things to report are not fun things. My twins both had their first cold last week and my daughter is getting 3 teeth at the same time. YAY for the teeth but booo for the sleepless nights.

  This is my first post on here. I pump and FF because I do not produce enough BM. I met with a LC who has been helping me get my LO to stay on the breast. Good News: He stayed on for 20min (10 each side). Bad News: (1) we did a before and after weight check to see just how much I am able o give him and he only got 1 oz out of me total and then I pumped and got another 1 oz total. (2) after she left he has yet to latch on and stay on that long again.

  Pumping is really starting to blow even more so when you have to supplement like I do. I pump so freakin much to only make a little. I am able to give him 6oz of BM a day and I have a small stash so I can keep it going if things dry up (which I feel like they are).

  I was pumping at least 8x a day put this past week I am trying hard to get in 6. He is at the point where he wants to cluster feed/not nap/ and only not cry when I am holding him which equals REALLY hard to get pumps in. I am really hoping things straighten up so my supply does not go away even more god knows I dont have that much to start with.

  Yay for Charlie's good day   Things are good here. I started domperidone and I am seeing a nice increase in my supply.  I now get 8-9 oz more than before. This allows me to freeze one serving a day!

  This week is going ok but on wednesday we go for Cooper's Endoscopy so Wednesday will be ruff. Hopefully wednesday we will have answers about Cooper, and why he will only eat when he is sleeping.

  Sunday will be 7 months pumping and I am running out of steam My goal was 6 months then I made the goal 12 months but I may give up @ 9 months depending on what they say this week.

  It is just so hard 2.5 hours a day you just sit there. Sorry here I go...

  I have made it to almost 5 months!!! YAY. At first I didn't mind and I don't mind doing it at work but sometimes I hate doing it at home.

  I have been doing the math. At my current production and my DD's current intake I should be able to wean and use freezer milk starting at 9 months. I only have 4 months to go!

  This weekend I was hardly home. I had to take a traffic class to dismiss a ticket and was gone all of Saturday. Sunday my DD wanted nothing to do with DH and would follow me with her eyes everywhere I went. She got upset if I left the room. SO cute...yet frustrating because I couldn't get as much done.

  Aww- resident cheerleader. I try. I know how very supportive this board has been to me. So i try to do the same to others.

  There is no way i would have made it 10 months without you ladies. seriously.

  i am soooooo excited for the warmer weather. I am enjoying pumping 2x. Gisele now gets around 15oz of fresh milk and 10oz of frozen milk a day. I am so ready to stop. I can feel that there is life after pumping. But i am so happy to give her this milk.

  Sad thing- I need major knee surgery soon. I blew my ACL and i have no cartilage behind my kneecap. I am in a TON of pain and I can't do steps AT ALL. Which really sucks because we have a three story multi level house. We have six levels in all- broken up in half floors. (our house is like a life size kittie condo-- if you can picture that) lol.

  So i have to struggle up all of the steps with a 23lb ten month old. really sucks.

  Yay!  I can't believe I made it 4 months!  I am currently starting the process of weaning, and it is slow going.  My boobs have not gotten the memo that less pumps is supposed to equal less milk.  So when I went from 4 pumps to 3 pumps, my body pretty much immediately adjusted so I was still producing the same amount (if not more!!).  I tried scaling back the amount of time I pumped (only 10 minutes instead of the 15 minutes or so to empty my breasts) and that worked for a few days, until Saturday and Sunday when my breasts MAJORLY rebelled and I leaked constantly.  I ended up having to pump every 4 hours yesterday afternoon, I was so rock hard and miserable.  Wean Fail!
  

  So, I'm basically back to the drawing board a bit on the weaning process.  I was able to go 10 hours this morning without pumping and wasn't nearly as miserable as I had been last night.  I'm re-evaluting my weaning schedule.  At this point, my goal is to be weaned by the time DS is 5 months.  I will then still have enough BM to get DS to 6 months, which was my initial BF goal anyway.

  Anyway, congrats to all the ladies for making it another week!!  You all rock!

  Two big successes this week!

  Lauren has been on BM for over 6 months!  I am now bumped up a category.  Wow.  Never thought I'd make it.  I am pumping twice a day and getting 20 oz.  The rest she eats is frozen or Gentlease.

  We started solids this week too!  She loves her sweet potatoes and green beans.

  Also she is sitting up!  Like a little tripod.  So cute.

  Congrats for another week of pumping ladies!
