Hi ladies. I always appreciated those that posted these. So here are my belly pics after birth. I lost 15 pounds when I got home, and 2 more this week. Slowly but surely, the 50 gained will disappear.

Story:
We took DS to his first appointment and as we waited for the
elevator this women (in her 50s) was there, here's our conversation:
She asked "How old is he"
We both said "Just 4 days old"
She looked at me kind of funny and then said, "So did you only have one twin and still need to deliver the other?"
I
thought WOW, what a bold sarcastic comment. We both just laughed and
didn't answer. We then got on the elevator she says, "No really,
so is that a Yes? You still have the other twin?"
I laughed and said, "nope, just one baby."
She then thought for a little and asked after looking at Ty, "So then is he yours?"
I said, "Yep...he's mine, just still have a bump left over".
She said, "Oh...well then congratulations. I guess that does take a little time."
Seriously??? This was my first outing and she is damn lucky that I was in a mood of pure laughter and didn't burst into tears. DH and I had to wait outside the Dr office to compose ourselves. Who says that, seriously?!?
Re: Belly after L&D (PIP) and story about idiot woman
I can't believe someone would be that rude!
FWIW, I think you look fabulous.
Holy F8CK!
I so appreciate these posts w/ PP bellies. You look great and your LO is darling.
And that woman deserves a swift kick, how dare she be so completely ignorant and rude?
There are too many people out there who think they need to say stupid things. You look good!! I am terrified what I am going to look like after this baby. I looked like I had a flat tire after my son was born. I don't care I am looking forward to bending over again!

I'm speechless.
CONGRATS on your baby! I think you look fab!
My aunt asked me 3 weeks PP why I still had a belly. "Don't they take out the placenta and everything?" She has no children, obviously. And you look great. Of course it will take some time...it took me 10 months to get back into my pre-pg jeans, and now 15 mo pp I weigh 15 lbs less than I did when I got pregnant! (I'm not pg again, I am just a lurker here).
Congratulations!
you look great and i can see the belly shrinking- what a rude person. What did she expect someone to look like 4 days PP.

OMG! What a frking idiot! You handled it a lot better than I would have.
You look great! Do not let that old fool make you feel bad. She probably never had children and has no idea what she is talking about.

Ha, yeah and did you see how lame mine was?!? I was on bed rest and had NO idea how in to it everyone was going to get. I thought you just had to write the words on your bump. Go figure. I obviously didn't win
