Baby Mod vs. Da Vinci....Help!!!!

Hi everyone!

I need to purchase a bigger crib since my LO has outgrown her mini crib and I wanted to get the Baby Mod Cadence from Walmart, but I would have to pay for shipping ($32) since the closest Walmart is over 15 miles away. I found the same crib (I think) on Amazon for a bit more (but less because i wouldn't have to pay for shipping and tax) but it's the Da Vinci Kalani. If I got the Da Vinci, it would ultimately be $12 less. My question is, do I buy the Baby Mod at Walmart or get the Da Vinci from Amazon and save $12? Are they exactly the same? Is the packaging the same with everything included? Please help me solve this dilemma!

So, no one knows if they are exactly the same? Does anyone have the Baby Mod Cadence or the Da Vinci Kalani in white? No one can help me? I don't which one to get! Argh!

I'm pretty sure it's the exact same crib (Walmart carries it under the Baby Mod Cadence name and I've seen it at Target called Da Vinci Kalani.) It's a lot cheaper at Walmart. Same thing w/ the dressers, they are identical but go by different names at both stores. They are both made by Million Dollar Baby, according to my Baby Bargains book. We ordered the Baby Mod from Walmart because it was so much cheaper than Target and used the site to store shipping, it should be in on Tuesday. It comes w/ the toddler conversion rails and we purchased the bed rails (twin/full size) from Walmart for $50. HTH!

I'm pretty sure it's the same. The company Million Dollar Baby (I think that's the right one) makes Da Vinci and I think they make Baby Mod for Walmart as well.

I do have to say, I find it hilarious that 15 miles if far away. LOL I'd never pay for shipping for something 15 miles away! That's close by for me!

Thanks for the insight. I really appreciate it. Maybe I will just get it from Amazon to save me the drive. It's 15 miles away, BUT I have to take a freeway that goes by the airport and has terrible traffic all the time. My 15 mile drive is at least 40 minutes and could be more than an hour each way, plus gas....so do I pay for gas and my time or do I pay for convenience? That is the question.....lol

ahh yes, that's different. Hard to know that in terms of miles...15 miles for me is maybe 15-20 min.

I don't know for sure, but wouldn't returning through amazon be a pain? (Just in case it arrives damaged) I would order from Walmart and have it shipped to the store, 15 miles isn't that far. Walmart returns have got to be easier than Amazon.

We got the Baby Mod Serena that is supposed to be the same thing as the DaVinci Anastasia. We are putting it together this week so I'm not sure but everything I read and the looks of them are the exact same. It was about $150 cheaper plus free shipping for us so we went with Site to Store instead of BRU.

yeah they are the same. i have the baby mod parklane set from walmart and freakin love it. i'd also do site to store shipping through walmart in case you have issues with the crib and need to return it

I got the Baby Mod Serena from Walmart and visited my friend who has the Di Vinci in the same style. I couldn't see a difference. HTH.
