Just saw your post from earlier.
Stephie was a breech baby with hip dysplasia. She wore a harness from weeks 2-6 pretty much 24 hours a day. It was much harder on us than it was on her.
She's now 1-year old, happy as can be, and her hips are totally normal.
It is so hard seeing your baby like that, but it is so worth the treatment!
Also, what really worked for us as far as clothing was modifying her sleep gowns so that they had extra fabric on the sides to fit over the harness. Basically I split them up the side seams and added an extra triangle of fabric there. Make sense?
Page me if you have any questions about anything...
Re: ***Trinny***
Thank you so much! I had considered modifying her clothes, if I need to. I have my appt today, so I'll see what they say. I'm hoping if she needs the harness, they'll just get it for her today, instead of coming back.
I'm glad to know you didn't need to wear it very long (though I'm sure it felt llike a long time to you!). I'm hoping hers will be a mild case...
