AW! Look at the quilt I made!

My little cousin is expecting a girl in May and I made her a quilt for her crib. I love how it turned out!

Do you already know how to sew? If so, then it really is an easy concept. Of course the harder the quilt pattern the more time consuming it is. I am a perfectionist and absolutely hate it when my corners, lines, points, etc. don't match up. You have to be so precise!

I have basic sewing skills and am trying to improve.  I just made a baby sundress and after I get a little better at it, I want to take up quilting.  Your post is encouraging me Smile

I LOVE it!! It's beautiful. Any basic tips, tricks, suggestions for a beginner quilter?

I don't even know where to start!

I would either go to the library or buy a beginner quilting book if you like to learn by reading. I am not one of those people: I also recommend going to your local Joann's, quilt stores, etc and take a quilting class. If you already know how to sew, quilting would be very easy! It just takes time, patience and practice.
