Stupid Q - What are "cubes"?

When you say that you give your baby a "cube" of baby food, what do you mean? Are you referring to the plastic containers that companies like Gerber sells or something to do with making your own baby food? How much food is in a cube? TIA!

    i think they are referring to frozen cubes of food. those of us that make our own tend to use ice cube trays to freeze them. i freeze them as cubes and then dump them into a bag and store them in the freezer.

    i think 1 cube generally = 1 ounce.?

    When you make your own baby food and freeze it in ice cube trays.  One cube is about one ounce.
