Such a lovely morning topic, but I have to ask -

What week did you lose your plug?

How soon after did you go into labor?

Did you lose it all at once or did your discharge just slowly become more and more mucousy (if that's even a word - but I think you know what I mean)?

    I lost my mucus plug on 35.6 weeks and about 1-2 hours later I had a placental abruption and went into labor.  Pretty sure my case is not normal though.  LOL

    I slowly lost mine from weeks 34-40 I did not go into labor as a result of losing my mucous plug.

    I began losing it at 39 weeks.  It was not all at once, it was in pieces.  I went into labor almost a week after I started losing it, but in between then, my OB also stripped my membranes, which I think helped because after he did that I began to lose a lot of the plug.

    I loss mine through a course of 1 1/2 weeks or so.  Alot of mucus and bloody discharge (sorry TMI) starting at about 39 weeks.
