so, i don't feel pregnant, and it makes me nervous

i can't remember if i did or didn't feel pg at this stage last time, but i can't help but think that i should feel more pregnant. i don't know... i know it's way early, but i almost feel like i'm not pg.... if the doctor hadn't confirmed it on friday, i would really question it myself.... anyone else?

What do you think early pg should "feel" like? You're only 5 weeks, I imagine you won't "feel" pg for quite a while.

I didn't feel pregnant at all with DD. Maybe some tiredness, but that was it. However, with this one it is very different. I do understand the need for reassurance, but count yourself lucky if you have a smooth pregnancy. Smile

I didn't feel pg until about a week ago...now DH says I'm getting a waddle and it's getting harder to find a comfy way to sleep! Enjoy it while it lasts!

It will come and go frequently. I forget I'm even pregnant sometimes. I'm not even hungry anymore.. it's crazy but I consider myself extremely lucky. No worries. You're fine!

I know what you mean. LOL on the boob poking because I'm doing the same thing since it's the only symptom I'm feeling so far. We just have to stay positive I think!

I have been feeling the same way, but after reading a post about night sweats, i thought to myself...hmmm..maybe i am! its been confirmed by my doctor, but it just feels as if im not...im also nervous because i had a miscarriage in jan 09 and just wondering how its really supposed to feel...im six weeks today, and on friday i get an ultrasound...hopefully its good news!! I would try to relax bc you're so early. At that stage, I was only extra irritable and tired. The nausea didn't really hit until about 6 weeks.

Don't worry a lot of us didn't feel pregnant at 5 weeks, I'm closing in on 12 and sometimes I don't feel pregnant.

I didn't really feel pregnant until 6 weeks 2 days when m/s kicked in. Enjoy it while you can you never know when a new symptom will sneak up on you.

I never really had symptoms until 6-8 weeks with all 3 pregnancies. Everyone is diff and with my first pregnancy I didn't feel all that awful during the first trimester (like I didn't have m/s). I say enjoy some nice dinners out with your DH before you start to have pregnancy discomforts - wish I had!
