I actually am a fan of boy names for girls. We had Logan picked out for a girl. I think if you paired it with a really feminine middle name it would be pretty!

The problem is that she won't go by her middle name. If you name a child Dylan Rose, they are still just Dylan to everyone. I have no idea what my friends' middle names are.
I know a girl named Kyle, and I still cringe every time I hear it. Some names are best left as boy names, in my opinion.
I know a little girl named Dyllan. She's so precious. If you like it - do it. That's the best advice I have for everybody on this board. Someone somewhere is going to have an issue with whatever name you pick, so do what you want. I like Dylan.
Re: for a girl
I second that.
At the rate things are going, there will be no 'boy' names left.
Amen to this!!! I'm sorry but Dylan is not feminine in any way, shape, or form. It's a traditional male Welsh name that means "son of the sea."

I agree - this makes me so sad!
Don't do it! Choose a girl's name!

Well I do really like Dylan for a girl's name. I think if you really like it then do it! I am also a fan of girls having a some boy names.
I knew a Daryn in college. Not the same as Dylan, but the general idea. It suited her well.
Dylan does have a bit of a feminine touch to it, but I think this one may be best left to the boys IMO.
