When did you feed berries?

I want to give DS strawberries or Rasberries for finger food, but I'm scared that since they have the seeds in them (probably an irrational fear) that he'll have an allergic reaction.  I know the only way to know is to try, but I wanted to see when other people gave these as finger food.  He's already had puffs and yogurt with these things in them, but I think that's kind of different (probably not).

    I have given strawberry jam....

    Strawberris have been in my purees....

    I know of no one who has had an allergy to "berries" in my family so I felt safe and he loves them

    All is good....

    I give DS frozen strawberries in his little mesh feeder thing all the time! He loves them and it feels good on his poor little gums since he is teething also. The mesh thing keeps all of the seeds out and it's awesome. Got it at target.

    AmandaJane we have the little mesh thing too.  I could try that with the strawberries, they aren't very soft.  Oh and I've got a little red head too.  To cute!

    I think there's some rule about waiting until a year.

    I didn't. Joseph had strawberries in purees at 4m. He ate actual strawberries at 6m.

    Right now he'd eat a 6ft tall mascot in a foam strawberry suit.
