Did everyone make it through the storms okay??
We've got some limbs down, and a 6" layer of sludge (mud, leaves, and branches) against the front of our house/fence because our yard slopes down, and our pool is about to overflow, but other than that we were super lucky. Power was only out for about 5 hours.
What about you ladies? I hope everyone is okay!

I didn't sleep a wink and we had the fan going and a white noise machine. It STILL sounded like a freakin hurricane. During one of the bad thunder booms, I woke up to DS crawling up me whimpering...it was so cute, but he was definitely not loving the storm. We are fine, though, other than being tired from the lack of sleep.
Lisa- the 'bridge' near my house was flooded over and there were mudpiles in the road from some of the new construction sites...I had to wait until 9am to leave for my parents b/c I couldn't drive out of the neighborhood!
Fish River is still rising in Baldwin -- they said it will probably flood tonight/tomorrow sometime, so more road closings to come!
So glad you guys are okay!
My street was flooded Saturday morning. I am in midtown Mobile, so by noon, when the weather turned nice, most of the water was gone.?

Our house is up higher so we didn't have any problems at all. Actually I slept so hard that night I didn't even hear it raining that bad. I think our power just went out briefly. I didn't even know it did until Jude woke me up and I looked at the clock and saw it blinking.
My brother's FI's mom's house got a little water in it though. Thankfully they didn't have any carpet so they were able to clean it up easily enough.
