I'm pretty sure you can't pump into the drop-ins there is no way to hold them around the pump parts and such. As far as bags, it would probably be best to ask on 0-6 months.
We us the drop-ins with DS. You can't pump into them...there's no way to attach them to the bag. I use the lansinoh pump and just pump into those bottles. If I'm freezing the BM I pour it into the lansinoh storage bags. I've really liked those so far, they have a place on the bag to write the date and the amount. Don't go by the markings on the outside of the bag! Also lay flat to freeze...saves a ton of space! When I'm ready to use the milk I just defrost in the fridge overnight (I put the lansinoh bags in a big freezer bag while they defrost because I've had a couple bags leak before) Then once it's defrosted I pour into the drop-ins. Hope that helps!
It only says it can't be used with Avent or First Year pumps. But I wonder if it's cheaper then doing the pump and save bags. Ugh another thing to research.

You CAN pump right into the bags, you just have to get the 'breast milk storage system' or whatever it's called, also by Playtex. ?It's just a bunch of blue rings that allow you to attach the drop in bag to the bottle that the Medela pump comes with. ?Then you screw a cover on it and freeze or refrigerate it upside down. ?A 6 pack of the rings/adaptors is like $10.
I am using the Playtex drop in system. I used it with DD as well. You can use the bags that attach to your pump or dump the milk into the storage bags from the collection bottle. I did this with DD. I used the Gerber storage bags. You can then use them on your drop ins, by dropping them in and pulling the edges of the bag over the bottle.
This time I am using a Medela pump and I bought storage bottles that hook up to the pump. I will then dump the milk into the bottles when they are needed. Medela also has bags that hook up to the pump and you can seal them and store them for use later on. I have looked into picking up a few of those as well.
BTW I bought the Target brand liners for $2.99 for 50 4oz liners.

We're getting the Medela Pump in Style.
Medela pump and save bags which are freezer bags.
We're either going to use the Playtex Drop-ins or the Dr. Brown Bottles. As far as I know you can not freeze in the drop-in bags.
Huh you got me thinking so I googled playtex drop-ins. I found this:

Same, just using an Ameda pump.

this is what we'll be doing.
