Ugh. Registering at Target was so disappointing.

I was sooo frustrated at Target today so just here to vent.........

I knew they wouldn't have a lot that was online but I felt like they didn't have even a little fraction of it. Then the things that I did want to get often were so gender specific that I wasn't willing to register for it. I think that I'm having b/g twins, will have confirmation in 2 weeks so that will help with some things but I'd like to have some things that I don't feel like I have to use with one or the other. I know that I can still use them interchangeably of course, but honestly, I'd just rather have some gender neutral items and not listen to my husband say the boy baby shouldn't be in a pink bumbo or whatever. The bumbos were only available in pink & purple & there was only one gender neutral boppy cover too.. .Ugh. I am so cranky now, I think I need a nap.

    Boo! I'm sorry that registering wasn't a fun experience!  We originally tried to pick out gender neutral items as our little one didn't cooperate at the big u/s and we had no idea what we were having!  It's so hard to find anything gender neutral these days. I'm not sure how people go 9 months planning that way.  I hope that you find are able to find the items you want and can update your registry as you go. I added and deleted things from mine all the time!  You could always do a second registry with Amazon.com or myregistry.com to add the things that you couldn't find at Target. GL!

    Thanks :). I plan to register at BRU & also amazon possibly...my work requested a Target registry b/c they are throwing a 3 way shower for 3 of us and thought it would be easier if we were all the same place & Target is convenient. I know at least one other person gave up on Target b/c this is not her first child so she has very specific favorite brands/etc that she likes & she couldn't get them at Target, so I'm ahead of her anyway LOL. I found the yellow/green bumpos online so I added them through the website. We'll see what happens I guess!!!!!!

    I'm sorry! I always have the hardest time finding things for people's registries in the stores versus online. I know it's not as fun but can you do a lot of your registry online?
