Any1 get food poisioning?

Hey ladies!

I am not sure- but I think I got some kind of food poisioning.  It hit me yesturday with chills, nausea and BAD diarhrea.  I was in the bathroom all night.  So far this morning- no more diarhrea... so that is good!  Anyone here get food poisoning???  My Dr is not in today to call her- but I have an appt tomorrow with her anyway.

What advice did your Dr. give you??  Of course I am worried about Salmonella, etc...   but I guess I could have also just caught a flu bug.

Dx: PCOS/Amenorrhea/Anovulatory/lining problems. Clomid = BFN's. Lots of cancelled cycles due to thin lining or cysts. IUI#1= Follistim, estrace and endometrin = BFN IUI#2= Repronex, follistim, viagra suppositories and endometrin= BFN. IUI#3= Repronex, follistim, viagra suppositories, femtrace and endometrin= BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isabella born in June via C-section!!!!! She is so incredible!     Oh no!  Poor thing, that sounds awful!

    I've had food poisoning a couple of times (though not while pregnant)--one time I ended up in the hospital due to dehydration.  If you are able to keep liquids down (and maybe some crackers or something like that), I'd wait until your appointment.  BUT--if you can't keep anything down (or your diarhea gets worse), I would put a call into the doctor's service.

    Dehydration is typically the biggest concern.  I don't know if/how it is different when pregnant, but push the fluids.

    I hope that you are feeling better. . . and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to call the doctor!

    Hey!! Tracy!! Just wanted to say hi and I hope you feel better soon!!

    Went to my new RE and i like her so far. She is changing my meds to Bravelle & menopur and I have a good feeling about that so we'll see. I am waiting until my April cycle to start as I am still not ready to go back to the shots yet & having it consume my life.

    Hope you are feeling better and doing well with everything else. GL at your dr's appt as well. 28 weeks has flown by (well for me anyway).

    Hey Rach!  I am glad you like your new RE!   Keep me updated on any cycling/results.  I will continue to think about ya!!!
