One reason to keep BFing if possible...

...is the great smiles you get at 3 months!  It's a little frustrating at the same time, because Cal's so distracted but much of the distraction is toward me when he stops nursing just to look up at me with a huge grin!  I imagine this happens with a bottle too, though, now that i think of it.  So much fun. :)
Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
Life is beautiful!

    I love that too!  Hannah reminds me of a kitten b/c she will have a little dribble and that adorable little look. Wait till he is older and holds you like this is mine and I will cuddle it while I eat. I am going to be so sad when I am done bfing b/c I love all those cute moments.

    Just wait until he laughs with the nipple in his mouth and the milk dribbles out!  I love those moments!  He also holds my breast like a bottle now and when one is empty he pulls the other one to him and starts sucking!  I do no work- he does it all.  Side note- not so cute is the nipple twisitng habit he has when nursing- sucks on one breast while nipple twisting the other side.  Not realy cute and really skeeves DH out when he sees it :-)

    I loved that too!!  But the real reason I'm responding is that I can't believe Cal is 3.5 months already!!!!  Where is the time going?!?!

    Thank you for sharing that - things are tough in the beginning, huh? Hard to keep going - especially for me right now because I have to BF AND pump. Lots of work. But I am working to take care of Trig and have those moments :) So far, it's cute because he'll sometimes get frustrated and rub his face on my nipple - it always makes me laugh :)
