These next 2 months are going to be for me..

I have realized that over the past 2 years, most of my thoughts and actions are focused around my IF.. the tests, the treatments, the "What if I'm pregnant right now".. in reference to what I can and can't do.

After our failed cycle last month (which was our first medicated, but obviously not 1st clycle trying), we decided to take a break for about 2 months before we move on to do an IUI. Our original plan was to wait until June, due to our crazy schedules, but the RE talked us in to trying out Clomid... to see how my body responded, etc.

We've had a lot of changes in the last few months: We got a house, DH graduated last week, I am in the middle of my clinicals and will graduate in May, we're dealing with some family things, etc.. So, these next two months are going to be for me. I have decided that I am going to spend quality time with DH, go out with my friends, get a tan for my upcoming graduation and get in shape by going to the gym several times a week.. I want to look good!! .. and just try to get back to finding myself and feeling like "me" again before we jump back in head first.. Of course, I will still go to my acupuncture to keep my cycles regulated, and temp/chart, but I am not going to let it be my first thought, as it has been for the past 2 years.. I just need a break and I need these 2 months to find myself again and enjoy time with DH.
