I started spotting on Thursday and by Friday afternoon, I had regular flow-- or so I thought. Next thing I knew, I was leaking out of tampons every hour. It was like I couldn't get another in before I would need to change it. This went on through the evening and I decided to call my RE. I was told that if it didn't let up, then I would need to come in for a D&C. Yesterday, it was still bad.. I went through a tampon in 20 minutes, another in an hour, and it started letting up a bit. I have been passing large clots as well. I've talked to my Dr. several times...
It seemed to let up some by yesterday evening, but I am going to see how it does today.. If it's still bad, I have to call my Dr. and let her know and she said I will need to come in for a D&C. ![]()
Re: May have to go in for a D&C
Thank you! I know this sounds silly, but this really isn't good timing to have to have anything done-- I am in the middle of my clinicals and really can't miss any days. But I know that if it needs to be done, then that's what I have to do.
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
I totally understand the timing thing! For the last week my husband and I have tried to figure out what day would be "best" to have a D&C if I have to have one. It's weird how we're prioritizing work over health - maybe it's a way to try to stay sane.
I am glad I am not the only one!
haha I probably should have gone in yesterday to be checked, but my Husband just graduated from college this past week and we were having a big gradaution party with out of town guests, etc. I do think that having other things to do help me focus on some other things besides just my IF.
