Testing out the trigger

I know some of you ladies do this, but how does it work?  I'm hoping to get the trigger tomorrow if u/s shows mature follies.  How many days after the shot do you start testing?  Around how many days does it take for the trigger to go away?

    Let's see...my trigger was on a Friday, ER Sunday, ET Wednesday, and I started testing the Monday after that. I only had one + HPT and then the rest were negatives. I believe on the 10th morning after trigger is when I got my negative.

    I got my negative 11 days after the trigger.

    Thanks for your responses.  I hope I get to trigger in the first place and that this cycle isn't a bust.

    i started about 2-3 days after trigger and tested every other day and it was out by 9 days post trigger.
