BM supply is tanking =(

For some reason my supply has tanked over the past week or so....so much so that I have had to dig into my freezer stash At this rate I will not make it to 1 year....can I start milk a little early???? I am thinking around 11months give or take a few days I will start. I just dont want to buy formula if I dont have to... plus I cant imagine that they would take it since they are strictly BF babies. WDYT?

    If you do start cows milk, ask your pediatrician.  The big issue would be iron-deficiency so they might want you to use an iron-supplement.

    Has AF came back? My supply always has a big dip the week before and sometimes during AF, but it returns to normal when it goes away.

    11 months is fine.  It isn't as if something magic happens at midnight when they turn 1 that suddenly makes cow's milk OK.

    no sign of AF...so I dont think that is what is going on....but I suppose it is possible.
