Re: Any one else feel like complaining about their DH?

  • My DH is sleeping in the fetal position on the floor in the middle of the family room right now. No joke.

  • I would feel horrible since he made a wonderful dinner tonight, rubbed my feet during an entire moving and is now napping because he is volunteering overnight for a designated driver program in our area. ?I guess he's not too bad after all:)
  • mine left me home with his parents while he went to a hockey game with his brother.
  • My dh is still at work, and he left at 8:15 this morning. I know we need the money, but this is redicilious. Sad

  • mine is playing online poker and re-installing his porn bookmarks on his laptop.

  • He's not bugging me much at the moment. But in the interest of not letting e-friends complain alone, here's a few:

he sets his stupid alarm clocks (yes, clockS) for an hour before he actually gets out of bed. This would annoy me if he snoozed them himself. But that's not all. I get blasted from sound sleep and have to shove and biitch at him to get up and turn them off and get out of bed while he sleeps through them. After over a year of almost daily "discussions" about this, I'm pretty sure there's no resolution.

He also uses the phrase "there's one thing about it, blah blah" in front of entirely too many sentences.

This morning I let him sleep in until 11. I tried to go take a nap when DD did (we'd been up since 7) and he complained that if I slept the day would be over and we would never do anything.

    That's all I got.

    What's yours?

  • Normally I would join in the man-bashing but I ditched mine to go to the lake w/ one of my girlfriends. ?He was supposed to be planting my azaleas today and building a raised bed for my tomatoes and cucumbers. Big Smile

Sorry to postjack; I know it wasn't a "who wants to AW their Hubs" post. . .?

ETA: I changed my mind. ?I am here b/c if I HAD stayed home, he would have come up with 11,000 things for me to do and would have hovered and asked me 11,000 questions while I was doing those things. ?Also, I have to go to dinner @ his folks' house tomorrow evening and his mom is a horrible cook.

  • lol, jeni

my H starts way too many sentences with "Well, you know..."  no i don't know. and neither do you.  you're just trying to sound like you do. lol.

  • Mine is snoring in an Ambien-induced stupor in the computer room, where he fell asleep Hulu-ing Battlestar Galactica.

But he did clean the upstairs, do two loads of laundry, and take out all the garbage today. So I'll keep him. For now.

  • Mine snores. A lot. It is the single most annoying sound in the world. And it's so loud! I used to wear earplugs to bed but now that I have DD I have to be able to hear her so I can't wear them anymore. Most nights it's me and DD in our bed and DH in another room. Sad

get him some breathe right strips! they are miraculous.

snoring totally sucks.  my mom would shake our whole house when i was little.

  • DH came in this morning at 11:30 and loudly announced that his friend and his little boy were coming over and that we were all going to the Air Force Base museum. Not that I would usually mind that, except his friend was practically in the drive way when he told me this and his announcement woke DS up from his morning nap. I then had about 10 minutes to get myself and DS ready to go and completely forgot to pack any snacks. It just went downhill from there.

  • I'm a little late, but DD went down for the night at 8pm, about 30 minutes later her cough woke her up. Finally 4 hours later she went back down. She had been crying and complaining the whole time cause she's so tired. WTF is DH doing? Oh playing his stupid XBOX and didnt even once try to take over for even a few minutes.
