the name is enough for me. I will give DD meat in a more original form. Not a processed stick. However, I remember loving vienna sausages when I was little. Gross.
They just look gross. But when I worked at a daycare, this mom would give that to her son everyday. He seemed to have liked it. I just wasn't sure what you girls thought about them.
I actually just bought two jars today for my dd to try. I have tried lunch meat, plain cooked chicken, ground beef etc with no success. But dd does really like to hold things and gnaw on them so I was thinking the meat sticks might actually work. We'll see!
I was given a jar and I'll probably give them to ds soon. But I'll cut them up. He does like to gnaw on things now too - I'll give him toast or cheese slices, but for some reason these seem like more of a choking hazard.
ditto jessi on the choking hazard. have you tried hiding meats in things? quesadillas (chicken and hamburger) sandwiches (chicken, sand. meat, tuna) and omelets (ham) all work here.
Re: Gerber meatsticks?
heheheh
meatsticks.
hehehe.
I will not be feeding my son meatsticks.
CPS frowns upon that...yech.
ETA: WHO thought that name was a good idea? They should be fired (ala Donald Trump).
i don't and i won't.

Hahah...meatsticks. Anyway.
No, I won't. The idea is a little gross. Although I'm not against hot dogs, so who knows.
For now, she gets lunch meat-- turkey and ham, thinly sliced and then cut up. It's cheaper anyway.
that sounds nasty...
what is that, like a baby slim jim?
LOL. That sounded really funny.
LOL. That sounded really funny.
A. They look pretty gross.
B. They are a choking hazard for kids our childrens' age unless you cut them up, which sort of kills the convenience factor.
