Odd sunburn question

Okay girls....I am posting from my vacation in Sanibel, FL!!

I am currently gearing up for FET #1- taking Estrace, Medrol, Prog. shots and Doxicyline (sp?).

I usually tan verry easily, maybe a little sunburn here or there...but nothing that doesn't turn to tan the next day.

Well..I am TOTALLY burnt and hurting soo bad.  It feels like third degree burns...seriously.  Not like  sunburn.  Has anyone experienced this?  It is only on my limbs- arms and legs.  It burns 24 7.  I don't know what it is from?  Wondering if it is the meds....

Thanks for reading and calming me down :)

Re: Odd sunburn question

  • I know that Metformin can cause people to be highly (more than normal) sensitive to the sun and docs recommend major sunscreen usage, but I am not sure about the meds you are on. I would get some aloe vera (keep it in the fridge, feels best cold) and I hope you feel better soon.

  • If you're taking doxycyline (spell) you should not be out in the sun, the doxy bottle I have says avoid exposure to sunlight and artificial tanning beds.

Does yours have any type of warning?
