...at almost 13 weeks (first pregnancy)? ?I just put a pair on today & they feel so much better. ?I still have to use the BellaBand, since the maternity band on the pants is too loose. ?I just feel silly for putting them on at almost 13 weeks. ?Is this "normal"?
Re: Anyone wearing maternity pants...
With my first, I didn't wear maternity clothes until 18 weeks, which is when I told work (pics in bio). Before 18 weeks I wore a Bella Band because my pants were too small but the mat pants were too big.
This time around I am in mat jeans at 13 weeks.

Don't let anyone tell you or make you feel silly for buying them early. Everyone is different. Even when I was about 10-12 weeks, I was so bloated that even the bella band was uncomfortable so I bought a pair of maternity jeans from ON. Wear whatever you haveto to be comfortable.
And plus, it's not like it's a waste of money, you will HAVE to wear them soon enough.
With DS I was in maternity pants by 10 weeks. He was very low and and grew out of all of my pants by then. With this one, obviously it's early, but I have lost 18lbs since I got pregnant the first time, so I actually have bigger pants to move into. The problem is that they all have waistbands that cut me in half by the end of the day with the bloat. So today I went out and bought a bella band. I LOVE it so far.
1. There is NO such thing as "normal".
2. I was in maternity jeans at 9w, maternity bottoms at 11w and maternity tops at 14w.?
I'll admit it, I bought a pair
I actually bought them because I needed another pair of jeans, not because I needed the maternity fit. I just figured I'd rather buy them now then waste money on a pair of regular jeans that will only fit for another month or two.
I use the bella band to keep them snug on my waist, works fine.
i'm wearing them - i just bought the low rise/elastic waistband ones from old navy. you cant tell they're maternity jeans really. they just feel more comfortable against my belly even though i havent gained any weight. the whole bella band thing didnt look comfy to me so i didnt feel like going that route.
im not too crazy at my bella band..somedays it feels too tight and others in rides up and is sooo annoying...i went to old navy and bought 2 pairs of maternity pants (not the ones with the panel in them that goes over ur belly) they are just like reg pants but with a stretchy waist....I AM LIVING IN THEM!!!! So comfy and feel so much better....i would def recomend them......
Dont feel bad either abt what some people on the boards say abt it..u have to do what feels best for you!
