AW: Got a surprise in the mail today!

I've been checking out Ergo baby carriers for a little while but haven't actually gotten one.  I thought they were somewhat expensive (since we're on a pretty tight budget) but I completely wanted one...I just wasn't going to spend the money for it.  I didn't think my DH realized that I really wanted one but I guess he did because I got one in the mail today!  I called him at work and he said he just wanted to surprise me because I never get anything that I want for myself.  Awww.

    He has his moments....sometimes few and far between.  In fact, I can't remember the last nice/special surprise thing he's done.  He usually surprises me every few months, so I guess he thought he was overdue Wink  He's definitely off made up for lost time!

    That is so sweet!! Let us know how you like it. How big is your DS? Just curious if it works for a bigger child (mine will be a year on Wednesday but LOVES to be carried and snuggled.

    DS LOVES it so far.  He's almost 26 lbs and 30 3/4" long.  We've already gone for a 2+ hour walk and he laughed and giggled the whole time.  In fact, he cried when I tried to take him out of it when we got back so I just wore it around the house for a little while.  I tried it on the front and on the back and he loves them both, although I think he likes being on the front a little better.  That may be because that's what he's used to though.  He was getting too big for the sling and you can tell he's much more comfortable with the Ergo.  DS loves to be carried and snuggle too and it keeps him close to me but lets him still look around.
