Hating the infant seat??

My LO has decided this week he absolutely hates his infant seat...he gets fussy or throws a fit in it unless he's asleep. Makes it really hard to go anywhere. Did anyone elses LO go thru this and did they get over it?

    My LO hates the seat. I am hoping he will begun to enjoy it more, so I cont to take him with me a few days a week on short trips.

    DD did this, we were able to "deal' with it for about a week and caved in and bought the convertible seat which she never cried in. She was around 3 months when this happened.

    We got her a Britax Marathon. I don't know if it's because she sat up higher and could see things or what but she had no issue with it at all. She's 4 now and just moved into a toddler/booster seat from the Britax.

    DS does this every single time!! so today we bought him a convertible seat that is way bigger, i think he was upset cause he was so crammed in there! hopefully this will solve our problem

    Ugh, my DS just started hating his seat as well. He used to LOVE it so I don't know what happened.

    We are going to be driving 2 1/2 hours (each way) to see my family next Saturday and I am absolutley dreading it at this point.

    Hmm, we just bought 2 convertible car seats (one for each car). Maybe we should give this a try. Thanks for the idea.

    Yes mine hates it!  Started at about 3 months and she is just now starting to get used to it.  I'd say she cries only 50% of the car rides, instead of 100%!  It sucks... good luck to you.

    My DD did this and we bought her a toy bar for the carseat handle.  That solved most of our problems.  She was just bored back there and wanted something to stare at.  The toys hang in her face and that makes her tremendously happy.
