diaper brand question - is there a difference boy or girl?

Since this is my second pregnancy, my best friend is throwing me a shower but it's a diaper shower, since I dont need too many baby essentials. She's asking my preference for diaper types. I have a little girl and we've always used Pampers and now some Luvs without any leaking problems. I'm having a boy this time, is there a difference with diapers on a boy? Are huggies or another brand typically better for boys? This may be a dumb question, but I'm hoping the newer mommies can help me out.

My favorite for my son is the pampers swaddlers. We haven't had any problems with them, they aren't bulky like huggies. But beware, I was suprised at how fast he grew out of them so I bought in bulk and now have a lot left over.

yeah, I remember how quickly my daughter grew out of nb and size 1, and I've already gotten a few from another shower, so I'm asking for 2, 3 and 4 diapers. I know the 3/4 size lasts alot longer. I'm so grateful they want to help stock up, but I'm hoping I can return extra boxes if I get too many in the smaller sizes.
