BH contractions question

I know this has been asked a bazillion times, but I never read those posts really. (Or now that it's me, I can't remember what was said anyway!)

What do they feel like? I've had a few times where it's just like something's weird and my belly gets all hard. At first I thought it was the baby shifting strangely, but then I thought maybe it was a BH. Doesn't hurt at all. Just weird and hard. Does that sound like a Braxton Hicks??

    BH to me were just tightening of my abdomen. ?At first I thought it was him shifting or rolling into a ball, but if you move positions and it goes away, it's usually a BH.

    That is exactly the way BH's felt for me.  Mine started at about 30 weeks - well, that was when I figured out what it was.  They progressively got more and more uncomfortable as the weeks passed.

    If it's an all over hard (not just in one place where baby could be positioned) it sounds like BH to me!
