Hippy, I'm sorry.

But you can't say you "righted your wrongs." Stealing isn't right, and that's what you did. Waiting three months after payment to ship, while giving excuse after excuse to MULTIPLE people, is not the way to do business. This is not the "righting of wrongs."

I know you'll be back, and I honestly don't know why. I don't know why you are continuing to try to do business, when it's obviously not your forte. I hope you find the help you need and whatever it is you are looking for. People trusted you, when they obviously shouldn't have. I posted positive feedback for you when I didn't even buy anything from you, trying to help you out while you were shut down.

If you were running an eBay store, who knows how many PayPal complaints you would have had by now. Your store would be shut down, and I don't know what else would have happened. If it were a "real" brick & mortar store... I don't want to imagine the backlash.

I hope you understand that you were messing with REAL people, REAL money, and REAL feelings.

I have so many questions, but I'm not going to post them on the board as I don't want to cause a boatload of speculation for everyone else, and I really do think you're a nice person... I just hope you think long & hard about reopening the Etsy shop like you're planning.

Hippy, I have to say that I agree with this post completely and you know that I am one to stay out of the drama. I think that it is unfortunate that all this had to happen and even more unfortunate that you are trying to paint yourself as the victim in all of this by saying you gave money back if they asked and upgraded things for free. You are not the victim, all those you screwed are. You say you have learned you lesson and if you really and truely have, I think that you will see that a business person you are not.

I agree with this. Adding baked goods or extra DD doesn't "make up" for being 3 months late, and more importantly it doesn't make up for flat out lying about when you're sending things out. It's frustrating to see so many people making her out to be the victim, when she has clearly established a pattern of fraudulent behavior. This wasn't a one-time mistake, this was months and months of repeatedly taking money from people and not delivering the promised goods. No matter how nice she may have been to people in issues un-related to money, she is a fraudulent business person and I don't see how people can act like PPD somehow excuses that.

And LOTR, you staying silent is BS. You know it. You and I emailed way back in December about this whole mess when you were helping her get her orders out. I am still waiting for a board-wide apology from her like you said you were going to suggest that she do.

She can't own the fact that she is online 24/7 but can't return emails and paypal disputes?? Come the eff on. If she would have just COMMUNICATED off the board with her customers, this ENTIRE mess would have been avoided.

At least she had the guts to speak up. You were mysteriously quiet yesterday and I'm not the only one who noticed. For someone who is usually the pot stirrer, it's rather odd you wouldn't stick up for your friend. Am I wrong here? I seem to remember you throwing the biggest hissy fit over the link we shall not mention. And wasn't it you who deleted the entire thread? Where was all of your "my real life friends create a double standard" support yesterday?
