i figured it would be monkeys but turns out its giraffes! The swing i got her had giraffes, someone gave me a pack n play that has giraffes, the kids went to the zoo and got her a giraffe and a bunch of her clothes have giraffes.
We have been given so many stuffed elephants, elephant bank, hand-painted statue, etc, so I guess that has become his theme (although, that isn't how his nursery is decorated).
Birds. Her room theme is ABCs and animals, but birds seem to predominate -- she has bird silhouette wall stickers, a bird lamp, ceramic birds on her shelves, stuffed birds...
It seems like she ended up with a lot of "jungle animal" type stuff. Her wall art, mobile, FP rainforest stuff, etc. And lots of polka dots it seems too!
We ended up with a lot of 'jungle' stuff as well - bedding, clothes, blankets. Mostly monkeys with elephants coming in second. His favorite toy is a little stuffed monkey. Otherwise, he has a lot of blue/brown stuff - thanks mostly to Carter's.
Frogs....but that started with my love of the story "the frog prince" - years ago. My gift from DH on our wedding (besides the diamond necklace) was a frog with a gold crown...it's now in the nursery, surrounded by other frogs i've received over the years and some for DS.
Re: Does your baby have a "theme" for lack of a better term?
