Benadryl ok in 2ww?

I took 25mg last night.  My DH is away Thurs-Sun and I am petrified of being alone....its ridiculous.  I can never sleep.  One weekend he was away I literally went 2 nights without sleeping.  Last night I took 25 mg and slept like a baby and want to do the same tonight and Sat night (just 25 mg each night).  I figured that Benadryl is safe in pregnancy, so I thought last night it was ok. Thoughts?

    I take Tylenol PM fairly often to help me sleep and it's active "sleep" ingredient is the same active ingredient in Benadryl.  No one has ever told me I shouldn't be taking it.  :)

    I was sick during my ER/ET week and my doc told me that it would be fine for me to take tylenol products, benadryl, claritin.  So, I think you are good :)

    You are fine in the 2ww.  The only reason not to take Benadryl around ovulation is it can dry up your cervical mucus and then that would only matter if you weren't doing IUI or IVF.   I suffer from horrible insomnia and take a lot of Benadryl!
