NTTTC: Mac or PC?

I am looking to buy a new computer (laptop) and am thinking about changing from PC to Mac.  Any comments, thoughts, opinions, etc would be appreciated.  What do you have?

    I grew up with Macs and used one when I first went to college. However, I've since moved over to using PCs. Macs are great, but for what I needed I just kept running into compatibility issues. It depends on what you want to use your computer for. Macs are great for home photo and video editing.

    Mac all the way. ?Especially for laptops. ?(Even though they are hella more expensive - but they last a lot longer and are a better deal in the long run, I believe.)

    My husband and I both have Mac's (iMac's, the desktops) but we absolutely love them and would get Macbooks in a heartbeat if we had the spare money right now.  We've discussed getting Macbooks if our next IVF and possible FET don't work out (we would not pursue any more treatments so it would be a splurge before adoption).

    I made the switch from PC to Mac Book Pro two years ago and I absolutely love it- so, so, so easy to use.  I highly recommend making the switch :)

    totally agree! Mac's are more user friendly and great for pictures (hopefully soon you will have tons to take :)

    I've been using DH's MAC since I've been on bedrest and I like it so much better than my PC. I'm never getting a PC again.

    I recently bought a MacBook for school and there's simply no comparison.  I've barely even thought about my Dell since then.

    My next computer is going to be a Macbook Pro. I prefer PC desktops, but for a laptop, I'm a Mac fan all the way.

    We are a Mac household. Both my DH and I have Macs. I was first introduced to Mac because my husband loved his. I have to admit, it is so much better than the Dell that I had (and easier to use:-)

    i switched from a pc to mac this past november.  i just got the basic white macbook, and i love it!  just as easy to use as a pc, and much better customer service.
