Infertility

Anyone star stims on cd2 for IVF before?

My AF arrived earlier then normal and normally my RE starts stims on Saturdays for IVF. Originally it should have been next saturday with a cd4 start date...

I am not so patiently waiting for the nurse to call back with instructions, but I am wondering if anyone else has started this early.

I know you can't plan ER and ET but starting everything a week early is throwing me all off! I am panicking a little. Me = control freak by nature. Does not like when things don't go as sudo planned.

A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Re: Anyone star stims on cd2 for IVF before?

  • Most protocols I have started stimming in CD3, but, for microflare, I started on CD2.

How do they start all stimming on Saturday?  What if you get your period on Monday?  Then you don't start stimming until CD6??

  • Loading the player...
  • I went in on CD2 for my b/w and u/s and then started the stims that night.  I stimmed for 12 days and then triggered w/ my ER taking place on CD15.

I think it is my RE's protocol to start on CD2 or CD3 with the stims.  CD4 seems a bit late to me.

I'm a planner, like you are, so I freak when things don't go according to my schedule too!  Good luck :)
