I had a couple small wicker baskets with liners, but those aren't cutting it now. I need something to keep in the living room/den and then some for her room. I don't want to spend a small fortune but like the Pottery Barn & Land of Nod style stuff.

Notes:
RIght now we are using our PNP ?I bought one of these for Lily's room and have been thinking about getting one for our family room. ?You can mix and match colors:

we use a rubbermaid bin. probably not the style you're going for, though.
i really like the storage ottomans, though. would that work?

Do you have an ikea near you?
If so, this hamper is perfect for toy storage!
Funny, I took that like last week and now it's totally full!
The best part is you can see all the toys even at the bottom.
where did you get that? love it!

I bought two shelf units from target:
https://www.target.com/Bookcase-Collection-Chestnut/dp/B000JG3UDY/qid=1238197243/ref=br_1_5/182-6048540-7807618?ie=UTF8&node=109496011&frombrowse=1&pricerange=&index=target&field-browse=109496011&rank=pmrank&rh=&page=3and we use baskets on the shelves for smaller toys and then the bigger toys sit on the shelf. All DS's blocks are in a woven basket next to the shelves. It doesn't hide the items out of site but keeps them looking neat and off the floor which is what I wanted.
